Talc also known as Hydrated Magnesium Silicate and the theoretical chemical formulas is Mg3(SiO4)(OH)2, the theoretical chemical composition is MgO 31.68%, SiO2 63.47%, H2O 4.25% . 

There are mainly 5 colors of talc , white, light blue, light pink, light grey and black, hardness: 1, density: 2.7g/cm3, slippery and lamellar mineral. 
 

Talc has good oil absorption and chemical stability character. It also has high isolation and heat-resistance.  
 

The applications of Talc include Ceramic, Paints & Coatings, Paper-making, Plastic, Rubber, Cable, Cosmetic, Pharmaceutical-food, etc.
